What you can explore
A birth chart records the positions of celestial bodies at the moment of birth. Asteruna separates calculation from interpretation: an astronomical algorithm determines the coordinates, while the written explanations introduce their traditional astrological meanings. Start with one placement that interests you rather than trying to understand the whole chart at once.
Inside this section
- Planetary placements, signs, houses and aspects with explanations for the selected object.
- Interactive 2D and 3D scenes with zoom and a full-screen view.
- Transits for a selected date and saved results alongside your own observations.
How to get your result
- Enter your birth date and place, time zone and known birth time. If the time is unknown, say so: the app will not invent houses or an ascendant.
- Build the chart. Select a planet or aspect, read its explanation and see where it belongs in the diagram.
- Compare the theme with your experience. Save what matters to your account so you can revisit the chart and your notes.
How to read the result
A planet’s sign, house and aspects describe different parts of a placement. Read them together: the sign suggests a style of expression, the house an area of life, and the aspect a relationship with another theme. A single placement cannot define a person. Uncertain birth times particularly affect houses and chart angles.
Try it for yourself
Begin with the Sun, Moon and one prominent aspect. Write down an example that fits the description and another that does not. This is more useful than accepting every interpretation at face value.
